Twas the Night......

Dear Friends and Clients,

‘Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the city

The markets were quieter, hence our little ditty.

The ‘For Sale’ signs were hung on the lawns with great care,

In hopes that ‘real’ buyers soon would be there.

Interest rates are still dropping and are really quite low,

For those buyers who decide to venture out in the snow.

With Tom in his suit and Kerrie in her heels,

We are still ready and willing to go out and do deals.

But out in the press there has been such a clatter,

We’ve put pen to paper to assure you nothing’s the matter.

No major drop predicted, at least nothing too criminal,

Sales are still rockin’, and inventories are minimal.

The Board has assured us that the factor to remember,

“Our Province is booming!” says the data from November.

There definitely appears to be a holiday price pause

As folks Christmas shop for friends, family and inlaws.

So enjoy your home ownership, you’ve no reason to sigh

Your investment is safe, and we wouldn’t lie.

You can be confident that our market’s not scary

When jobs, wages and economic output are merry.

On Eastside, on Westside, in North Van and in Burnaby,

Downtown and uptown and even in Surrey,

On condos, on detached, the market keeps flying

We hear even Santa might be selling or buying.

And so comes to an end, our Christmas market update

We do hope that you are happy with all of your real estate.

And we earnestly wish you, along with our insight,

“Happy Holidays to all, and to all a good-night!”

Seasons greetings and happy holidays!
